995. Subject to the provisions of this Book, pleadings, notices and other documents may be notified to or served on the parties and the clerk by any appropriate means.

995. If the judgment has ordered payment of the debt by instalments under article 978 or has confirmed an agreement to that effect between the creditor and the debtor under article 963 or 975 and the debtor does not discharge an instalment when due, the creditor may request the debtor to deposit the amount of the arrear at the office of the court.
If the debtor does not make the deposit within 10 days of the request, the entire debt becomes exigible and execution is proceeded with by the creditor.

995. If the debtor does not make the deposit within 10 days of the request or within any other additional delay granted by the clerk for reasonable cause, the entire debt becomes exigible and execution is proceeded with by the clerk. In addition, the debtor in default assumes all costs of execution, notwithstanding paragraph 4 of article 993.
